About
Lanta Gras is a 501 c(3) nonprofit that builds community through music. Lanta Gras was born from the love of Mardi Gras with the first neighborhood parade in Kirkwood Atlanta, 2014.
We provide music scholarships and instruments for neighborhood kids within the Jackson Cluster of the Atlanta Public Schools System. Each year, we celebrate the Lanta Gras Music Program and our love of music by hosting a Mardi Gras parade, Lanta Gras Parade and Festival, that brings together our diverse community, raises awareness and helps to fund the music program.
We believe music creates community!
Our Mission
To build community and provide opportunities for children through the common bond of music.
Our Vision
Provide music scholarships to middle and high school kids within the Atlanta Public School's Jackson cluster.
